Having worked on one film crew, hundreds of TV commercial crews, as well as many sets as an extra, I can say it’s something every serious writer should do at least once. (And do it before your first film is produced.)
I found the article a true account of life as a P.A. Being able to work on any set is a benefit, but on a set with a good budget is eye-opening.
