Happy to announce that Media Distribution Partners has acquired Socio, by Danny Arroyo and Jacob Zetino, a tense thriller, focusing on a deadly female protagonist with a wicked sense of humor—and an insatiable vendetta.
The project is currently being developed as a six-part episodic series, with shooting anticipated to begin the second quarter of 2019. Principals Shahrook Oomer and Ann Kimbrough will produce alongside Arroyo and Zentino. Directors Danny Drysdale and Delaney Bishop are in discussions to helm episodes.
