Short films are a great tool for screenwriters, but their rules are different than a feature length film. Knowing how they differ is important if you’re looking to enter your script in a contest (BlueCat is the best), get it into the hands of a up & coming direction (film schools always need scripts), or film it yourself.
One solid rule: It’s all about the Ending! However, the good folks at Script came up with seven rules.
